A general-purpose silicone grade cannot address every product requirement. This page outlines the information needed for a focused discussion about material selection, compounding options and processing suitability. It does not promise a particular property before technical review.

Hardness & mechanical performance
Describe the desired feel and mechanical behavior. Indicate your target Shore A hardness, tensile, elongation or tear requirements, and the test methods you use.
Processing route
Identify whether you use extrusion, compression molding, injection molding, coating or another process. Share equipment constraints and the curing system when known.
Color & appearance
Provide a sample, color code or visual reference. Pigment carrier compatibility and final shade must be checked for the intended silicone base.
Special application conditions
Describe expected temperature exposure, electrical needs, outdoor use, chemicals or regulatory specifications so the applicable grade can be evaluated.

3. Discuss the production trial
If appropriate, agree on evaluation quantities and processing conditions for your own qualification process.
4. Confirm the commercial details
Submit expected order volume, packaging needs, delivery destination and other quotation requirements.

- Material family: HTV, LSR, additive or an alternative if the grade is not yet known.
- Target property or a copy of your existing material specification.
- Manufacturing process, part drawing, operating conditions and end-use application.
- Estimated trial quantity, ongoing purchase volume and required delivery destination.
- Applicable standards and any documents you need to receive before qualification.
